Our plants are grown in California Central Valley conditions which correspond to USDA plant hardiness zone 9.
Please note that our summers can be very hot and dry. Even plants that
may be described as able to handle full sun may require some protection from the afternoon sun and extra watering during the hottest months.
For vegetables grown in ground, we recommend amending the native soil with a high quality compost or soil mix.
For vegetables grown in pots or other containers, we recommend high quality compost or soil mix as well as regular fertilization.
